Nobody can motivate you. You must be self- motivated to make it. In every hero’s journey story, you are the hero. If you don’t feel like working for weeks at a stretch, nobody will shoot you. But there is always a price.
The heroes and heroines work well in a relaxed environment. That could be a casual corporate structure, a close – knit small company or off alone in a cubbyhole somewhere. Freedom, individuality and being able to be yourself are serious issues for you, wherever you choose to work.
Being a nonconformist is not limited to seeing things differently. It often manifest itself in style or hair, or in the hours we keep. Many heroes are slightly off-kilter in basic biological ways: you get hungry at different times, your sleep patterns may be different, you get bursts of energy at times when the average person is ready for a siesta. It pays to tune in to your body. The more you can adapt your work environment and time frame to your innate physical preferences, the more comfortable you will be. It doesn’t pay to work against your body.
